The city breathes with the music. Platforms scale to the kick. Signs flash with the bass. AI robots fire lasers on the beat. Run east through five city blocks, dodge enemies, collect data chips and energy drinks, reach the portal.
Tip: watch the bass meter — when it spikes gold, that's a kick. The whole city is locked to it.
2030 — Neon City Beat Run is Daddy Pig's fifth level, and the first one built entirely around music reactivity. The game taps the live audio stream with the Web Audio API and reads the frequency spectrum 60 times a second. Bass kicks pulse the platforms, brighten the windows, and trigger AI robot laser fire. Snare hits make the enemies hop. High-frequency activity drives sparkles and lightning streaks across the skyline. The whole city is literally locked to the song.
The level takes Daddy Pig east through five blocks of a rainy 2030 cyberpunk skyline. Watch out for prowling neon-eyed cats, magenta-collared dogs, scurrying rats, and hovering AI robots that fire vertical laser beams every few beats. Collect green data chips and cyan energy drinks for score. Reach the portal at the eastern edge of the city to clear the level.
